Gráinne Walsh has spent the better part of two decades building things, fixing things and helping other people do the same.
She began her career in technical roles with IBM and AT&T before joining Amazon in 2007, where she spent several years in a series of leadership positions across infrastructure, network automation and retail operations. It was there she found her footing as someone who could walk into a messy situation, figure out what was actually wrong and get things moving in the right direction.
In 2011 she left Amazon to do something entirely different — founding Metalman Brewing Company and building it from scratch into one of Ireland’s most recognised independent craft breweries. She did everything: the business planning, the fundraising, the production, the team, the brand. When she exited in 2022, she wasn’t entirely sure what she wanted to do next, but she knew she wanted to share her knowledge with other busy founders and business owners.
